Tagline Contest

A lot of businesses have proven a good story can be told in just a few words, called taglines. It's the story that reveals the value of the brand, in simple terms, what makes you tick and your customers stick. We believe a hard-working tagline should reveal a truth: A bold vision, a core value, a compelling advantage, a believable promise and an authentic experience. It should be true to the brand it serves.

As simple as they are, taglines are a part of an elaborate brand strategy. They are outcomes of hard work and planning. More often than not, there are interesting stories behind the making of these slogans or catchphrases. At Indocosmo, when we thought of creating a tagline, we turned to the greatest strength—our employees. More than 60% of our force have been with us for over 5 years. This is a testament to their belief and whole-hearted acceptance of Indocosmo’s vision to create a better world through technology. Through their experience in solving numerous challenges faced by businesses and their creation of digital products to power enhanced productivity in client businesses, they have become solution masters in life. Channelling their creative energy into creating a suitable tagline, we gave them the following criteria to follow:

· Easy to remember

· Easy to recognize

· Should include the USP of Indocosmo

· Should create a positive brand image

 

Within a week, we had more than 100 amazing taglines to choose from. They were all so good that we had a really tough time settling on one. Finally, after a week of deliberation, we unanimously decided on ‘WHERE IDEAS GET LIFE’. This tagline conveys Indocosmo’s expertise in transforming businesses and its commitment to growth—all in a simple and easy to understand sentence.

 

The winning tagline was created by Kiran Rajan of the IT department. Indocosmo commends him for his valuable contribution. On 23-08-2021, the management recognized and acknowledged his contribution.
